Research Trip June 2006 - Summary

Kincardine Niagara & Toronto

Strictly speaking this is not a research trip as it is a visit To Kincardine Ontario (on the shore of Lake Huron) to visit Karen's grandmother (her grandfather, Ernie unfortunately passed away in January of this year). Having said that Steve has not been to any part of Canada apart from Alberta so he was keen to compare Ontario with Alberta. It also gave us an opportunity to visit Niagara Falls and Toronto.

Summary of the trip:

The trip went well. The boys (10 months old) were great - especially on the flights which made our time so much more enjoyable. Ontario is much greener that Alberta. Toronto is much bigger than Calgary (4 million compared with 1 million) and does not seem to have expanded in the same organised way (but we only spent two days there so...)
