Research Trip June 2004 - Summary
While we have both been to Canada several times before, this is the first occasion that we have gone with a purpose of looking around our future country and trying to decide where we would like to live etc.
It is also the first time that we are documenting our trip ... we hope you enjoy it and find it useful. We've split it into two pages, one for each week as there's quite a bit of it.
Please follow the Links Below for each week:-
We have placed a few pictures in the pages above. To review some others (better?) please go to the pictures page below.
Summary of the trip:
On the whole we found that the trip has been another eye opener. Just when you feel that you have things worked out in your head something or someone crops into your mind and throws the whole picture out of focus. Karen got depressed one evening over the job front wondering and analysing what we both have in England and what we would be giving up to move across the ocean. As we are discovering there will be a lot of emotional ups and downs and the trip highlighted this. We are glad we went and we came away with a lot of information and full brains! It is hard to switch off from it all as you are continuously on a buzz and a high.
We can’t wait to return and hopefully when we do go back a year from now we will know how we are progressing and have our AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) well and truly in our pockets.
